After getting the title in Torino Challenger, in Italy, the Portuguese Gastao Elias achieved the Top 100 for the first time in his career at the No. 94. Last Sunday Elias beat World No. 300 Enrique Lopez-Perez 3-6, 6-4, 6-2 in Torino’s final.

"It's a unique feeling. It is a dream of childhood that comes true. It is a reward for the hard work of all these years, the sacrifices I've made over my career. For sure this is a moment that I will take with me for the rest of life, " said Elias, according to the web site of Portugal, SAPO Desporto.

After the crown, Elias became the fourth player to break the Top 100 of the ATP Rankings for the first time in 2016. It was his third title in seven months, following victories in Lima and Guayaquil last November.
