As it happened in 2014, Crionet has brought to Rio Open the Coin Toss digital at the center court of the most important tennis tournament in South America, besides other technology services that the Italian company offers to the event. Therefore, the referee of the match no longer needs to make the coin toss manually.

With this system created and developed by Crionet the referee himself or a sponsor can make the coin toss electronically. All the people on the court and the viewers can follow on the LEDwall screen the final result and the winner who will choose between serving, receiving or the side of the court.

In the video below you can see the way it has been done at the Rio Open tournament, the coin toss powered by Crionet during the match between Fognini and Andujar, and also between Nadal and Carreno-Busta on Thursday at the Centre Court of the Jockey Club in Rio de Janeiro.
